Audit may once have been the domain of ‘bean counters’ and ‘box tickers’. That’s not us.
Things have changed though and at Nolands what you’ll get is a company that’s led by a belief in building direct, long-term relationships with clients. We know that the more we understand our clients’ challenges and what they’re trying to achieve – wherever it is they do business – the better the solutions we can offer them.
While independence of judgement and objectivity (and of course counting the beans and ticking the boxes) will always remain key to what we do, interaction with our clients will always be just as important. It’s what gives us the vital first-hand information we can use to plan an extraordinary way forward.
Let’s start with the big idea. Audit Assurance is about protecting what you’ve built. That means your financial integrity, your reputation, and your ability to grow with confidence. It’s the peace of mind that comes from knowing your business is built on accurate, trustworthy information.
That’s what Nolands Audit is designed to do. We give you a clear picture of your financial position, highlight risks before they become problems, and help you strengthen the systems that keep your business running.
In this always-on economy, business doesn’t slow down for admin. Audits need to keep up. Yes, we still count the beans and tick the boxes. But we also look further. At risk. At resilience. At the bigger financial picture.
This is about more than compliance. It’s about clarity, strategy, and building the kind of confidence that helps you move forward, not just stay in line.
We know the rules inside out. IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, ISA’s, regulatory frameworks, you name it. But the magic happens when we connect that technical muscle with real world insight. That only comes from listening.
We don’t treat clients like checklists. We build long term partnerships rooted in understanding. What you’re trying to do, where you want to go, what’s keeping you up at night. The more we know, the sharper the solution.
And because we’re independent, we bring focus, flexibility, and a track record of getting the job done, efficiently and cleanly.
We offer a comprehensive set of audit and assurance services tailored to your business structure, size, and compliance needs. Whether you are a listed company, a family business, an entrepreneur or a growing SME, we bring both precision and perspective to every engagement.
A lighter touch option for companies that fall below the audit threshold. We review your financial statements to ensure they are consistent with your accounting records and provide a level of limited assurance without the scale and cost of a full audit. Ideal for private companies that still want third party credibility.
Learn moreListed companies face additional scrutiny. Performing a JSE audit means we meet the highest auditing standards and understand the reporting demands of the public markets. We manage timelines, ensure transparency, and support your team throughout the process with minimal disruption.
Learn MorePension and retirement fund audits require an understanding of unique regulations and governance frameworks. We work closely with fund administrators and trustees to deliver audits that ensure financial soundness, full compliance, and peace of mind for members and management alike.
Learn moreNot every audit fits a standard template. If you need financial assurance for a specific reason such as funding, a sale, legal proceedings, or other regulatory requirements, we define the scope with you and provide clear reporting that serves your exact objective.
Learn MoreInternal audits go beyond your financials. We assess processes, governance structures, and risk areas to provide valuable insight into how your business is really functioning. This is an opportunity to uncover inefficiencies, strengthen controls, and manage risk proactively.
Learn MoreDesigned for close corporations and smaller entities that require oversight without full audit complexity. We verify that your records support your financial statements and check that you meet legal and compliance obligations. Straightforward, professional, and fit for purpose.
Auditing should add value, not drag you down with admin. That’s why we combine deep technical expertise with tools that make the process faster, smarter, and more transparent.
Most importantly, though, is the fact that behind every audit is a person, on both sides of the table. That’s why we lead with people. No jargon. No runaround. Just real conversations that lead to real solutions.
Yes, we’re backed by smart tech. But it’s our people who bring it to life. We ask the right questions, spot the red flags early, and keep things moving without the usual audit drag.
The result? A seamless audit experience that gives you clarity, control, and confidence in your financial reporting.
It depends on your business size, structure and turnover. We’ll help you work that out quickly and clearly.
We’ve audited everything from JSE listed groups to retirement funds, NGOs, startups, entrepreneurial companies and family owned companies. No two are the same. That’s what makes it interesting.
It speeds things up, flags issues early, and gives you more useful insight. You’ll still get the human connection. Just with less paperwork.
We’re independent, agile, and genuinely invested in our clients. We go the extra mile and don’t take shortcuts. We ask the right questions, and we build real relationships.
Yes. Everything we use is encrypted, access controlled and compliant with local and international privacy laws.
We’ll map it out at the start. Then we’ll stick to it. We believe clarity beats surprises every time.
